As a junior, he trained and competed in Israel’s national circuit before earning a collegiate tennis scholarship in the United States, where he competed in NCAA Division II and NAIA programs. His on-court success and leadership quickly transitioned into a coaching career that has taken him from high-performance academies to community-based clubs across the U.S. and abroad.
Asaf has coached nationally ranked juniors, college players, and adult competitors of all levels. He is known for his analytical, encouraging teaching style that blends European technical foundations with the strategic, athletic emphasis of the American game. His programs focus on building complete players—emphasizing footwork, tactical awareness, and mental toughness—while nurturing a lifelong love for the sport.
At Trailside, Asaf leads all player development initiatives, adult clinics, and junior performance programs, bringing his passion for tennis, teaching, and community building to every court session.
